Not sure what to say?

"Pearl" was the school nurse at CD East Jr. where my husband Jake Brown worked for years as a School Counselor with her. She was also a Nursing Instructor at Harrisburg Hospital when I was there and we both were graduates of HHSN. Jake and I just loved her sense of humor, her many stories, her caring attitude, and her Godly example of a kind lady and Nurse.
She will be missed by all her family that she was so proud of, and all her many friends. May God give you Peace and...

There's a Buddhist saying When the student is ready the teacher will appear.

And there she was.

I met Pearl through physical therapy. And if she were here she would love to tell you the story of how we became friends. In fact you may have heard it .... more than once. Lord knows she loved a good story. And the limelight. And she was good at it. I loved that about her.

I do not remember this personally, but my mother and Pearl often reminded me that she was my nurse when I was born in the Michener family farmhouse in 1948. Pearl wanted my first name to be Richard, but my dad said, no way. Pearl always affectionately called me her little "Dickie" to rub my dad. She reminded me of this into my senior citizen years. Our families were neighbors and friends all my life. Pearl was always lovable and friendly. Will miss her on YMCA Drive. Dale Richard "Dickie"...

Our thoughts and Prayers are with family and friends. It was my pleasure to care for Pearl. She enjoyed Johnny Cash Gospel and ALWAYS sang in tune. And she spoke of LOVE for her Cross Point Family!

Dear Weaver Family: I wish to express my deepest sympathy and sincere condolences for your great loss. Mrs. Weaver was a truly wonderful person and touched all those she met throughout her life's walk. She will be missed by all who had the privilege to know her. May she rest in Peace and may you all take great comfort in your fondest memories. God Bless you all.

So many fond memories of your mom as our school nurse and as mom of my good friend Kim. My heart and prayers go out to you all.
