Dear Ms McKeogh and family,
Several years ago I contacted Mrs. McKeogh after the dedication of the US Army Women's Museum at Ft Lee, VA (May 2001). A young WAC, Pearlie Hargrave, was one of the women featured in an exhibit of WW-2 WACs. She was standing proudly by her car in North Africa.
My condolences on her passing. I'd hoped to meet her, and to take her on a visit to the Museum. Unfortunately she was having some health problems; I didn't get back. I am so sorry!...
