What an unforgettable character! We will always remember Pearce as one of the most unique and truly genuine spirits of all. My Melissa, Aoifes early childhood friend, still fondly remembers Pearse and all the fun times together. I sincerely hope to be able to reconnect with my dear friend Deirdre in the near future. May God continue to bless Mark and Deirdre. Love, Paula FASKEN

A true honor to read about a man who was lead by his hope to better the lives of others. What an amazing and inspiring story of hard work, dedication, and family. It makes me think of Isaiah 65:22, speaking of God's promise to future faithful mankind it reads, "For the days of my people will be like the days of a tree,And the work of their hands my chosen ones will enjoy to the full". Pearse clearly was no stranger to hard work. I look forward to all that he can accomplish in this future God...

My sincere condolences to you Deirdre, Mark, Aoife and family on your sad loss. My thoughts are with you all at this time. Dr Lyons positively challenged and inspired me in equal measure. "The opportunity of a lifetime needs to be seized during the lifetime of the opportunity" he often quoted - What a Lifetime of seized opportunities. May he rest in peace. To Deidre, Mark and Aoife and the wider Lyons family
Pearse was an extraordinary person who was very proud of all of you. I met with him many times in New Zealand and in Kentucky over the last 30 years and he never failed to inspire. I am sure his legacy will live on. All the best to you all at this very difficult time.

I have done some contract work for Dr. Lyons when Alltech sponsored the Christmas Music Festivals and several other times when he could use my services. I always appreciated his approachability and desire to give back to the community. His generosity and friendship will be greatly missed. My sympathy to his lovely wife and family. I know of no higher compliment than to say he was a friend.
