Mr. Setlin and family, I have admired you both for the my past 20 years at St. Patrick. I sat in the balcony with Mark at your Mrs. Setlin's funeral Mass on Tuesday. You are all in my prayers for renewed peace and a reminder that "Christ is Risen" and has made that promise to us all! Steve Wilson

Howard Setlin and Family. Linda and I send our very deepest and sincere condolences to you and your family on Pearson's passing. The right words cannot be expressed how sad we are but at the same time relieved that she is not suffering anymore. The lord has a wonderful lady at his side. She was a special and gracious lady. Our last time with you and Pearson in Blowing Rock will always be a fond memory and she will ALWAYS remain in our hearts.

Pearson, fondly known to me as "Aunt Pan" since I was very young, was one of the most beautiful and elegant women I have ever known. Aunt Pan always looked like she walked out of a magazine, whether sporting a tennis skirt or an evening gown. So many fond childhood memories with Aunt Pan, Uncle Howard, Corby, Kelly and the Van Dynes, from fishing and fish fries to birthday parties and sleepovers, cotillion, ballet classes, the Bath Club, football games, dinners, Open Houses, Halloween --...

Dear Howard and family, Bunny and I are terribly sorry to hear of your loss and pray for your comfort and her new life with God.

Dear Howard...and family i want to express my deepest sympathy , Pearson was my dearest friend and I will miss her every minute of my life, with all my love
Beatriz

My sympathies to Uncle Howard, Aunt Mere, Kelly and Corby. Aunt Pan was a wonderful person and I have very fond memories of her and all of you. You all are in our prayers.

We are very sorry for your loss. At times of hardship, the common advice you may hear is simply "move on." But move on to where? We can find comfort in the Lord's prayer in Matthew 6:10 - "Let your kingdom come." This Kingdom is real, and it brings comfort when we understand the blessings it will bring.
