Captain Peder U. Jacobsen, 75, of Fairhaven, Massachusetts, a U.S. Armed Forces veteran, husband of the late Reidun T. (Mannes) Jacobsen, died on Monday, March 12, 2001. Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, March 15, 2001, 5-8 p.m., at Saunders-Dwyer Funeral Home, 495 Park Street, New Bedford, Massachusetts. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday, March 16, 10 a.m., at Trinity Lutheran Church, 16 Temple Place, Fairhaven. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations are appreciated to Trinity Lutheran Church, 16 Temple Place, Fairhaven, MA 02719. Arrangements entrusted to Saunders-Dwyer Funeral Home, New Bedford, Massachusetts.
We are personal Friends of Peder,as such consider our lives enriched by knowing him. Spend many a night dining out with him, and listening to his jokes. Peder was a plain and honest person,and loved by many, everyone in Fairhaven knew him and will miss his presence for all time. Save a place up there for us Peder, we'll see you soon
