I'm so sorry for your loss. I didn't know Peder well (I met him while working for a local architectural firm) but was so greatly impacted by his personal character, style, grace, that distinctive voice and of course genuine kindness (not a quality I saw among my own Principal Architects much less the average individual) that I looked forward to his visits to my office and the pleasure of ensuring he had milk (not powder) for his coffee...He was truly impressive and I'm tickled to have known...

I remember that wonderful afternoon, Sally, when the three of us sat outside the Bainbridge house and watched the eagles. Remembering too the good conversation about books, opera, our shared grandkids.The visit to the Norwegian house- Christmas dinner on Mercer Island --all those good times made better by Peder's warm and jolly company.
