Pedro "Pete" Galindo

Pedro "Peter" Galindo, 57, went home April 20th, 2021. He was born to Julia & Jesus Galindo on January 22, 1964. He was raised in Midland & graduated from Midland High in 1982 where he played baseball. He worked many years as a food sales man for Terguson & Sysco. Peter became a father to his daughter Courtney in 1994 & his son Zachary in 1995. Peter was a jokester & loved to mock people & make people laugh. He took pride in barbecuing & loved his backyard get-togethers & also playing baseball/softball. Peter loved traveling & being with his family and his mother especially. He also greatly enjoyed watching his Cowboys & Rangers play. Left to cherish his memory: his mother Julia; brothers: Johnny Galindo, Jesse Galindo, Tommy Galindo & Sister in law Beatrice Galindo all of Midland; his daughter Courtney Borunda; two granddaughters Adrienne Zuniga & Alivia Borunda & numerous nieces & nephews. He is preceded in death by his son Zachary Pete Galindo & his father Jesus Galindo. A viewing will be held Saturday April 24th from 1-9 at Lewallen-Garcia- Pipkin, viewing 1-7 Sunday with Rosary at 7-9. Funeral services will be Monday April 26th at Our Lady of Guadalupe Parish & Shrine at 10am with burial to follow at Serenity Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers for the service will be Tommy Galindo, Chris Galindo, Josh Galindo, Jerry Aguirre, Ruben Molinar, Gilbert Collazo , Johnny Rodriguez, & Andrew Gomez. The family would like to express their gratitude towards all the medical staffs present during the many years of recovery & all the countless family members who helped care for Peter. They would like to say thank you for all the prayers, food & company during this difficult time. He will be missed greatly.
