Not sure what to say?

Pete was an amazing man. He was one of the first people I had met after I retired from the military. He took me under his wing, and helped me tremendously. He taught me so much about life. Peet, I am proud to have been your friend.

Was sorry to read of the passing of your parents this morning. Shall always remember your mother's paintings of her cats and your father's wonderful laugh and smile and love of sailing. The torch has been passed on to you to tell the stories of their lives and to keep them alive in the hearts of others. You will do a fine job. Bless you in this endeavor and your journey forward in this life.

Dear Heather and Gunner,
You probably don't remember me but I lived next door to you on Ash Street in Denver. You two were very young and adorable. I was 17 when I first met your mom and dad and it was love at first site. I thought they were (and they were) the coolest couple I had ever met. As happens in life all of us moved on but I never forgot your wonderful, beautiful parents. They made an impression on everyone they met. Fond memories of all. Warm Regards, Pattie Lockard

Dear Heather and Gunner,
I can still hear your dad's booming voice singing a few notes that echo in my heart. Your mom and dad were so guileless, kind and generous. They are the reason I live in this beautiful city and I'm forever grateful that their mark fell upon my life in all the most beautiful ways. My most sincere condolences to you both and your family and friend who were so well served by this beautiful couple. They set the bar impossibly high.

Dear Heather and Gunnar, It was with great sadness that I and my family we learned of Peet's passing. Please accept our heartfelt condolences and we hope that in a small way they help through these trying times.

Without a doubt, Peet was a gentleman and class act. I worked for him in 1971-72 and have fond memories of his sincerity in serving his customers and employees. He was a very successful businessman and mentored his son Gunnar to continue managing their family business in the same manner. I will miss the occasional lunch get togethers with Peet.

We are long time customers of Heuberger Subaru. On one occasion we met Peet and his wife. The meeting was like we were long time, old friends, this was the only time we met. Its no mystery why Heuberger is such a successful dealership.

Peet, you will truly be missed by many! These last almost 12 years of working at Heuberger Motors has been a blessing. You always came in with a smile on your face and made everyone feel welcome. I am going to miss your humor. You made working for Heuberger Motors a pleasure and I thank you for that!! I'm really going to miss you.

We (my wife and I) worked for Peet and Carol
in the early years. Wonderful people, we had
great times and accomplished great things.
God bless the Heubergers.
