Dear Hawisher children and Mr. Arko, Mrs. Hawisher was one of my favorite professors! She taught the many practical aspects of the classroom that often was not addressed in other classes. One of my fondest memories is right before our graduation, she invited our class over to her house in Lancaster for dinner! She was delightful. I have one of her books she authored; it stays on my bookshelf though other professional books have long since been discarded.
