As a Navy wife, she was known as a gracious hostess. With her talents she had started the Hampton...

Not sure what to say?

Peggie served on the staff of Ridgecrest Baptist assembly during the years of 1967 and 1968. She was a wonderful coworker, fellow, staffer, and Christian. Our paths never crossed again, and I was certain even then that she had a plan which involved her Christian faith and dedication to doing the next right thing. Peggie left a large presence in this world. She was very much admired. Prayers for her spouse, three children, sister, and brother.

Mrs. Ceravolo, Jo Anne, Sammy and Peggie's family, I just heard the news today from my mother that Peggie had passed away. I am so, so, sorry to hear that. It doesn't seem that long ago that we were growing up together in Wylam, riding bicycles, playing baseball in the Ceravolo backyard, playing in "the field", and riding the bus to school. She was Peggie Lee and I was Peggy Ann. She was petite and I was tall, but we had a lot of fun playing together. Though we have not been in touch...

My dear "little" sister, how much you will be missed. You were a ray of sunshine and an inspiration to many. I know that heaven has received an amazing "angel" and you will be that angel to us always.

Love,
Sally

Dear Peggie, Even though our paths did not cross that often, you were always showing up in my memory. I will never forget your beautiful smile, infectous laughter and upbeat personality. I am so thankful for the recording sessions that I had with you and other ABC members. As a result, I still have excess to hear you sing those wonderful hymns of Faith and Praise. This will hold me until I can hear you sing again in the presence of our Lord and Savior. Thank you for being my friend.

Dear Peggie-

I have so many happy memories of you. Most recent were spending the afternoon with you choosing wigs and turbans (so glad we spent that time with you!) and the ABC reunion. You informed me I would always be "little Vicki" even now. I remember how at home I felt when you and Ernie arrived. We have a lot of history from truly "little Vicki" days - playing the piano for me and helping me learn the alto on "God so Love the World" - to going on dates with you and Ernie (go...

The poet has said: "Some people come into our lives and pass through with little notice, others leave footprints in our heart and we are never ever the same." Such you have left in my heart dear sister.

Oh, Peggie, how I miss you. Seems crazy when we saw one another so seldom over the last 30-plus years, but you were always there and, no matter how much time passed, when we got together it was as though no time had passed. I shall treasure always the night we sat up until the wee hours at your home in Va. Beach and caught up on life, that night at the reunion in April 2005 in Roanoke when we sat up until the wee hours, the visit with you in November of 2005 just before you started...
