Not sure what to say?

Peggy was a wonderful neighbor to all of us who grew up on Kollwood Drive. Always willing to help out if you needed help. She will be missed!

Growing up on Knollwood Drive I spent many years at her house on Foster Street. She took great care of me when my parents divorced. Peggy was very selfless. This is so sad!

Sally, Sarah, and Peter Gray You have constantly been in my heart and thoughts. Your mom was sweet and always so nice to the kids on Knollwood Dr. and over the county. She was "one of a kind" and ya'll were blessed to have such an awesome mama. I know she is proud of all of you and your grandchildren. !! Peace and love surround you..

Mrs Foster was an interesting and good woman. It was a pleasure knowing her and seeing her and Pete at local Democratic functions. She was one of a kind and will be missed by people that knew her and some that did not. May she rest in peace.

"Mama Peggy" is a legend her children will carry-on. She was one of a kind and made a lasting contribution. She kept the faith!

Peggy Foster was the grand dame of Rocky Mount. It was a pleasure and an honor to know her. Her generosity touched many lives. May her memory, like her life, be a blessing!
