Formerly of Rockville, Maryland, Peggy was the owner and director of the PLA-SKOOL Children's Center in Rockville. She passed away May 12, 2014 in Shepherdstown, WV. She was 83. Peggy was predeceased by her husband of 40 years, Donald Anderson, in 2008. Her marriage to Martin Metzger ended in divorce. She is survived by her children; Michael (Arlene) Metzger, Jerri (Dominic) Burgess, Heidi (Alfie Steele) Metzger, Mark (Patsy) Metzger, her grandchildren; Thomas (Heather) Burgess, Jonathon Burgess, Deric Metzger, Lauren (Nick) Porter, one great grandchild; Preston Martin Porter, and a multitude of children that she has cared for over the years. A memorial service celebrating her life will be held Saturday, June 28, 2014 at 11:00 am at the Living Faith Lutheran Church, 1605 Veirs Mill Road in Rockville. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the March of Dimes or the Humane Society of the United States.

Sorry for your loss, though I hadn't seen your mother in 30 years I remember her well and fondly- Mark and Heidi may remember me (you'd better) but no one else in the family will...hang in there guys.
