Not sure what to say?

Peggy was such a lovely, gentle lady. Always a joy to talk with and discuss current issues!

To Bill and Family My deepest condolences on your mother's passing. She was the last of my late parents' close friends and I remember her so well as an elegant, highly intelligent lady who did so many good things in our community and how highly my folks appreciated her and Bill over the many years of their relationship.I am sorry I am unable to attend the service.

Ann and family, Your mom was a delight. I served with her on the City of Wichita's Advisory Board, The Commission on the Status of Women, in the early 1980's. Among other things, we advocated for equal access to credit for women and started the Women's History Section of the Wichita Public library. What a dynamo and a great laugh. She was dearly loved and will be fondly remembered.

Annie, I want to send my sympathy to you and all your family. I often think of you since our high school days. You were always so genuine and I know my parents thought very highly of yours! Prayers for all, Jana Carson Burnside

To Annie and the entire Browning family,

My prayers are with you on the passing of your mom. As you may remember, Peggy was a long-time, dear and cherished best friend of my mom, Gingy Buck. They were true kindred spirits, especially in their life choices to be mothers, homemakers and forces for good in our Wichita community as tireless civic volunteers and social activist to especially raise up those less fortunate. They shared their eneries, time, and commitment with many of the...

Anne and family, the Southeast class of 1971 send our condolences on the loss of your mother.

My sincere condolences to Annie and the entire Browning family.

Peggy was a shining example of grace and courage to many young women in the Wichita feminist community during 1970's and early 1980's, including me. To honor her memory, I pulled out my copy of "Radiating Like a Stone: Wichita Women and the 1970's Feminist Movement" and reread her contribution on Homemaker's United. As you likely know, Peggy helped found the group in 1978 to address the cluster of problems widely...

Very sorry for your loss.

Dear Dr. Bill & Jennifer,
My sincere sympathy to you and your family in the loss of your mother. I will keep all of you in my thoughts and prayers.
