Ms. Byrd was a wonderful and courageous lady. She will be missed

I did not know Peggy but have heard of her through a close friend. My deep sympathies. She sounded like a womderful woman.

I am very sorry to learn of Peggy's demise--she was, indeed, a most special individual with such a zest for life that it left you breathless! I had lost touch with her over the past few years, and was unaware of her illness. I know she was a treasure in your life, Jack, and her loss for you will be enormous. You have my deepest sympathy. It was an honor to know Peggy for many years and most especially to graduate with her in the class of 57 at Sunbury High School.

We are so sorry for your loss. Peggy always made you feel like you were very special. She had a warmth that radiated to everyone around her.
