Not sure what to say?

Graduated from HS with Peggy in 1948: I appreciated all the comments made by students. I am sure Peggy changed a lot of lives for the better. In todays times we need a lot more Peggie’s.

Peggy was a very good friend at Rainelle (both graduated HS 1948) also went to WVU at same time. Just found out she had passed away. Jack Burdette 6/13/20

Peggy, you will be truly missed,I remember you so well as my gym teacher at hermitage, you had a heart of gold,RIP

This lady held a special place in my heart. She taught me so much by just being around her. I was blessed to have her as a PE teacher,to be a PE Asst. in my 11th and 12th grade years. And I was blessed to be on the Girls Basketball Team from 1962 to 1964.Through the years I tried to keep up with her. I shall greatly miss her. My love and prayers to her family.

Peggy, you will be missed greatly by your family. She was my second cousin, but I always considered her an aunt. I went into teaching also and she was happy that she inspired me to do so. Miss You Peggy. You will be with Bill and your mom again.

Mrs. Cowan was a wonderful teacher and a very sweet lady.

Mrs. Cowan was my PE teacher at Hermitage and she was a great role model for me and for many other girls she taught. She was always smiling and always reading to listen. I will never forget her; she was a wonderful person. (Class of '62)

Mrs. Cowan was my Phys. Ed. teacher when she taught @ Brookland Jr. High. She was a wonderful person and a very devoted teacher.

Ms. Cowan, you were a wonderful PE teacher who made me smile. May you R.I.P. from a member of Hermitage Class of 1963.
