Not sure what to say?

Hi, Peggy. My mom, Althea, died recently and it got me to thinking about the other mothers in my life, including you. Thanks for being there for me, for all us foolish kids back then. Do you remember that time I walked in on you so fervently praying on your knees there in your living room? Your face was wet with tears. You reminded me that God hears--and answers--the fervent prayer of the righteous. He really does! Thank you for praying for me, for us. I'll see you again when we Gather at the...

We will miss her smile :)

Peggy was a strong and beautiful woman. NObody can ever say that she did not get her job done! She lived a complete and meaningful life, always putting others before herself. She will be long remembered!

Dear Teresa and Family,
I am so sorry for your losses. I will be thinking of you during this difficult time. Sharon Williams-Carter

Teresa, I just happened to look at the Times-Standard website and noticed your Mom has passed away. I am so sorry! To lose both parents in such a short time must be horrendous. I can't even imagine.
Our deepest sympathy to you and you family.
Mary and Bill Akers

I am sorry to lose Peggy after a twenty-five year relationship. I do know she is happier with Elmer and that makes it easier to accept her absence.
It is evident she did a great job in establishing great family values to her own and other community families. It has been inspirational to witness those inherited traits and the lovely sense of humor displayed by her offspring during the past few weeks. That is her legacy!

Dear Andy, Stanley, Stuart and Teresa,

Your Mom was a true Proverbs 31 woman and will be dearly missed.

Esther Smith Holmes and the Ladies of her Tuesday Morning Bible Study and Prayer group

To the Dickey Family,
Your mother meant so much to our family, she was considered a second mother to my husband and his sisters. I didn't realize how many considered her that until recently. It was truly amazing that she was such a wonderful mother to her own children, and still had time to love so many more.
Your mother had been so precious to Jamie and I after his mother's passing. She listened, consoled, and helped both of us through a difficult time. I will miss being able to...

Andy, Stanley, Stuart and Teresa,

Your mom, Peggy, was like a second mom to me in my troubled youth. She listened and advised, told it to me straight when I went off the rails. She was a woman of great spiritual and practical wisdom to me and so many others. She loved Jesus and wanted me to know about Him, too.

Thanks for sharing her with us. Deb and I always looked forward to visiting her when we were in town. She greeted us with open arms. We will miss her dearly.
