Not sure what to say?

Aaron, I'm so sorry for your loss. Peggy and I graduated together from LHS, Class of 1959. I visited with her at our 50th Class Reunion, and she was as nice then as she was in high school. you are in my prayers.

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Aunt Peggy, and what a kind and caring person she is and will always be now in heaven. As I read all the beautiful comments written in this registry, I am not alone in my thoughts. We will miss you greatly.

Mrs. Peggy had a smile that lit up every room, the same smile that lives on in beautiful Mrs.Shannon! I love you all so much and Mrs. Peggy will be missed tremendously. I strive to carry myself with as much class as she did, she was a true southern, classy lady. She loved her family and most importantly set an amazing example of loving Jesus. I rejoice in knowing she is up in heaven, playing the piano in the arms of her loving father. I will be praying for you all, Peggy will be missed by all...

To Shannon & your Daddy ~ May all the sweet memories bring a smile to your faces, may our Father's love & comfort sustain you and may her pride of each of you encourage y'all to keep on keeping on. She is whole again & rejoicing and one day you both will join her. Until then, she is watching over you and seeing how you are caring on a legacy of LOVE! I am so very sorry I cannot be there tomorrow ~ I will be there in spirit and will be praying for a beautiful celebration service of a life...

MY DEAR PEGGY, HOW WONDERFUL TO GET TO KNOW YOU AGAIN AFTER SO MANY YEARS OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL. YOU BECAME A LOVELY WELL COMPOSED WOMAN, DEVOTED WIFE AND MOTHER, AND MORE IMPORTANTLY, A DEVOUT CHRISTIAN. I KNOW THAT YOU ARE ENJOYING THE HOLY TRINITY IN HEAVEN, AND I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THERE. I KNOW HOW MUCH YOUR FAMILY WILL MISS YOU, BUT ALSO KNOW THAT THEY ARE RELIEVED THAT YOU ARE NO LONGER IN PAIN AND STRUGGLING SO TO STAY WITH THEM. YOU ARE LOVED !!! PAT ROBERTS EDMONDSON, GROVE OK

Shannon- you and I don't know each other personally and I did not know your Mom, but I follow your posts and I send you condolences for this heartbreaking loss. I am familiar with this as my Mom went to live with Jesus almost 7 years ago. Though your precious Mom is with Him and that is the thing we all want for ourselves as Christians, I know you will miss her terribly and I will remember you in my prayers. God Bless You and Keep You Safely in the Warmth and Comfort of His Love

I met Peggy during my years singing with JD Sumner & The Stamps Quartet. I knew from the first time that we met that we were going to be forever friends. She has been there to encourage me, befriend me, and to love me, as she did for so many. I will miss her, and I am praying for Aaron and Shannon, and the entire family. I am sure that Peggy is bringing "Southern Style" to the Heavenly choir!

I remember fondly the years in Houston when our guys worked together at Hughes Tool. Then we came home to East Texas and did not see the Dykes family very often. Peggy was such a beautiful person. Prayers for all of you in your loss.
