FINCH, Peggy Christopher, age 77, of Dolphin, Va., passed away December 29, 2008. She is survived by her husband, Roy K. Finch; her sons, Ronnie Finch and wife, Carolyn, Charles Finch and wife, Rose, Chris Finch and wife, Mary Ridg; her grandchildren, Bladen Finch, Christopher and Kelly Finch, and Parker and Kirkland Finch; and her sister, Martha Ellington and husband, Wilbur. Graveside funeral services will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday at Reedy Creek Baptist Church Cemetery, Freeman. The family will receive friends at the home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Dolphin Volunteer Fire Department, P.O. Box 67, Dolphin, Va. 23843, or the Brunswick Volunteer Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 33, Lawrenceville, Va. 23868. Williams Funeral Home, Lawrenceville, is in charge of arrangements.
