GOODMAN, Peggy W., 69, of Mechanicsville, lost her courageous battle with leukemia on Wednesday, October 3, 2012. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard S. "Dick" Goodman; and a sister, Faye W. Todd. She is survived by her daughter, Heidi Trala (Richard); four grandchildren, Hannah, Rachel, Nicholas and Noah; sisters, Betty W. Wade and Mary Beth Brown of Mechanicsville; and brothers, Horace, Maurice and Sam Wyatt of North Carolina. Memorial services will he held on Monday, October 8, at 11 a.m. at Branches Baptist Church, 3400 Broad Rock Blvd., Richmond, 23234. The family will receive friends at the church on Monday from 10 a.m. until service time. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Massey Cancer Center, 401 College St., Richmond, 23298.

I'm so sorry for your loss. You know she is in a better place with her husband and sister. I worked with Peggy at brookroad walmart and talked to her when sbopped at the mechancisville walmat. May God bless you.

I was very fortunate to work with Peggy at Best Products. She was such a funny and lovely woman to work with,I learned so much from her. My thoughts and prayers are with the Goodman Family

Peggy will be sadly missed at her store Walmart 3869. We were hoping to see her back at work.May the LORD keep her family coupled in HIS loving arms.
