Not sure what to say?

Peggy and grew up together- camping -sleep at each others home. The family lived accrost the street from our small farm. Peggy was 3 years ahead of me in school. We still shared secrets. Peggy loved to perform plays. My life was a farm life - We shared so many memories. I remember visiting her 1st dorm in Forest grove. How grow up Peggy was. Her grandmother Margaret was my "wild" beloved aunt. So many memories -I am age 85 so some day we will be reunited. pat "Currrier"

Peggy moved to Newberg, Oregon with her mother & grandmother (my aunt Margaret "Currier") I was with Peggy when her Naomi told Peggy "I am marring Herman Wilkie. Peggy moved accrost the street from our little farm in Newberg. We rode bikes, hiked all the time. I remember Peggy's reaction to birth of calf- SHOCK! So many memories I shared with Peggy till she went off to college in Forest Grove. Patricia "CurrIer" Our family history on ancestry.

I was lucky enough to have Peggy as my homeroom teacher all 3 years at Shumway, as well as my English teacher. What an amazing teacher and the impact she made on the lives of her students. I think of her often and the great times we had in her class. Sending prayers and angels to her for her next journey. Love and prayers to her family.

I worked with Peggy at Covington as a counselor. We closely worked as a team. Peggy was a joy to work with and always treated the counselors with respect and asked for our feedback. I have many fond and wonderful memories of her. She will be missed. My condolences to her family.

Peggy loved the Blazers and watched their games faithfully. She was one of the most enthusiastics fans I ever met. ❤ Also, Peggy often wore her Trail Blazers shirts.
Tonight, we watched the Blazers’ first game of the season and thought so much of Peggy’s smile and enthusiasm. I know in my heart that she was watching as well.

Mrs. Graves was the teacher that talked to me about becoming a teacher in my journalism class at Shumway. She was a straight shooter with me and I appreciated that. She also was a colleague when I became an administrator. She will be missed.

Peggy was my cousin-sister during her growing up years in Newberg. I was with Peggy when her mom and Herman Wilkie announced they were going to marry. Peggy grew up accost street from our small farm in Newberg. I was with Peggy for many camping trips. When Peggy went to college -Yes, I was around. Peggy was 2 year older (almost the day) than I. Peggy you will be missed! Loving memories of you. Blessing to your family. cousin Patricia

Peggy was a wonderful mentor to her students and the community. I was a student at Covington Junior High and she always treated me with fairness. I was not always one of the students that was considered the prize pupil but Ms. Graves always looked past that and treated me equally. One of best memories of Ms. Graves is working with her on the project Hands Across America and feeding America. It made a positive impact on my life and I was able to do something great and help the needy.

I taught at Evergreen High School when she was an assistant principle. She was always positive and friendly. She had the right attitude to be an administrator.
