Peggy Griffith Valure Hintermeyer

"Be not afraid - I go before you always...Come follow me and I will give you Rest." Our loving mother went to rest in the peace of our Lord on Saturday, January 16, 2016. A native Mississippi, Peggy spent her last 60 years as a Baton Rouge resident. She is survived by two daughters: Peggy Baldridge Llort and husband Salvador of San Salvador, El Salvador, Central America, and Belinda Baldridge Marretta and husband George of Central, LA; two sons: Carlo Valure and wife Leslie of Watson, LA, and Antonio Valure and wife Wanda of Walker, LA. Peggy had 10 grandchildren: Salvador Llort, Belinda Llort Ruiz, Leigh Ann Llort Guitterez, Peggy Llort Sicilia, Maria Christina Marretta-Campbell, Amber Marretta Samaha, Joseph Valure, Elizabeth Ann Valure, Joshua Valure and Shane Valure. She was also blessed to have known 17 great-grandchildren. Peggy has two surviving sisters and a brother-in-law: Jean Mixon of Mississippi, and Wanzie and Eddie Reynolds also of Mississippi. She is preceded in death by her parents and six siblings. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 19th at Greenoaks Funeral Home at 10 am until Funeral Services beginning at 12 pm.
