Peggy Kubert

Peggy was an amazing parent. I know her as a pioneer to getting the mental health curriculum into the Winnetka public schools. When we lost a teen to depression and suicide, Peggy was part of that parental group that went out throughout the country to seek help and find that curriculum that will help save the lives of other children in our community. Peggy was instramental in getting Washburne School started with the mental health curriculum. We all love our Peggy Kubert. She's an amazing parent at Carleton W. Washburne School. Mentor for our Kinetuc Wellness Department in helping save the lives of our youth. Introducing them to mental health. I first met Peggy when she worked for Parkside Adolescent Treatment program when I participated in a number of her training programs. She was instrumental in supporting me to start the first Operation Snowflake program in the Chicago northern suburbs. Always available for guidance and support besides her infectious smile, she impacted so many young peoples lives. My sympathy to her family and may her memory forever be a blessing.
