Well my beautiful friend I am having a difficult time believing you are physically gone. I still want to come over and play cribbage and laugh with a glass of wine. Thank you for bringing that lovely smile into my life. You will always be in my heart.

I am a cousin--of the clan Privette. Pauline Horton was my Mother and sister to Peggy's and Billy's Mom. I am compelled to try to recapture the important role Peggy played in my life…

She, Billy, and their Mom and Dad belonged to a time, an era, that was in many ways perfect and idyllic. Our families were "whole" then – grief and sorrow had yet to show their faces. When I was with them, with Peggy, there was fun and celebration. We were alive and life was such joy.

I'll miss having 1st cousin Peggy in this world and am sorry I have no personal relationship with her children and grandchildren who must all be very special folks, also. The last time I saw Peggy was at her Mother's funeral, my Aunt Madge. I did visit Pageland with my Mother Clarice to see Peggy on several of her many trips to SC. I'll always remember her as a young beautiful woman.

Peggy and I were first cousins; my mother Clarice and her mother Madge were sisters. I have many great memories of Peggy, from family events and reunions. I am sorry for your loss of your mom and grandmother. We will all miss her.

I had the honor of spending last Thanksgiving with Peggy and her family. Although I sensed she was keenly aware she was about to be called away, she enjoyed herself fully during the holiday. She was very present and in the moment, laboriously walking around the block with us when the family dog needed a break, eating her fair share at the big meal, cutting up, playing games with the grand kids.
