Not sure what to say?

I've wondered about Peggy, and now, to find out more than two years late, that she has gone to the string section in the great beyond is so very saddening. I met her in the children's orchestra in Hood River in the late 1940s. I wanted to look like her, play like her, wear her clothes. She was a hugely important role model, including her radiant smile. She smiled up at the conductor as the music was about to begin: a wonderful signal to pass on to younger musicians. We stayed in touch in...

I met Peggy back in 2015 the summer I was in Beaverton. I still have the letter she wrote me when I left back to Texas. I´m so sad to hear of her passing. She was always so happy and joyful! I have very fond memories of her! May she rest in peace!

This goes particularly to Tom and Matt whom I have never met, but plan to tomorrow. I first met your mom about 79 years ago when my family moved to Hood River. We lived about a quarter mile above Eino and Elma, and became VERY close friends. Our two families became quite involved in the "Music Association" where Peggy played the violin and my sister, Betty, played the cello. I mis your mom. Your two families hold together, take good care, and remember your your mom.

Matt and family, what a beautiful tribute. I fondly remember your mom and what a warm and joyful presence she was. Your house in Raleigh Hills was always such a fun place to hang out and Peggy was big part of that. Sending condolences from France - I´m so deeply sorry for your loss.

Tom and family, I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dear mother. My thoughts are with you,
