Peggy was such a wonderful cousin and friend to me even before she married my cousin Mike. If you had Peggy on your side, you had a true and fearless defender on your side. Peg loved her family beyond words. And oh that front porch, the secrets it holds for all of us who had the joy of sitting there with her! And yes occasionally sharing a manhattan! I only remember good times with mom. She always loved to laugh and she made all of us laugh with her. She was always kind and considerate to all. I was sorry I couldn't get out there to visit her. I know she is at peace now, hanging out with the pope.
