May 8, 1958 – May 18, 2014 (Age 56)
A retired child care provider, she passed away at her home on May 18, 2014 at 12:45 p.m. She was 56, and a resident and native of Colyell. Visitation at Colyell Baptist Church, Tuesday, May 20, beginning at 6 p.m. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., conducted by Reverends Bill Holifield and Delmas Taylor. Burial in church cemetery. She is survived by her spouse of 36 years, Timothy James Wheat I , three sons and two daughter in laws, Timothy James Wheat II and Whitney Loyd Wheat, Cody Dwayne Wheat and Jennifer Higginbotham Wheat, and Mason Alex Wheat. A brother and sister, and their spouses; Wayne and Beverly Goings, Mary and Ronald Wayne McMorris Sr. Five grandchildren and one on the way; Logan, Olivia, and Jamie Alice Wheat, Gabby and Paci Watts, and baby Timothy James Wheat III (Tuff) due in October; numerous nieces and nephews; sisters in laws and their spouses include Glenda and Ricky Wheat, Joy and Barry Ricks, DD and Lane Wheat, and Brenda Wascom. Mother in law, Margaret Wheat. Preceded in death by her parents Henry Thomas Goings, and Tennie Palmer Goings; brother Thomas Goings; Father in law, Bill Wheat; sister/ brother in law, Goldie and Wayne Pollard; nephew, Danny Pollard. Pallbearers include Vernal Ardoin, Troy Goings, Brad McMorris, Gearld McMorris, Mike Wheat, Travis Ricks; Honorary Pallbearers include Austin Cornett and Duck Wascom.

My heart breaks to know this wonderful family is goin thru this. Ms Peg you were one of a kind. I lady that had left an impression on everybody that knew you. Watch over Tim, the boys and your grand babies. You was such and AMAZING wife, mother, and grandmother and will be missed. Love ya Peg!
