Yvonne and Frank,
I'm sorry to hear of your Mom's passing.I barely knew her but I could
see that she was special.I particularily enjoyed her sense of humor.
I know she will be missed. Please accept my condolences.

I knew Mrs. Wood first as the genteel lady at church. Then, began to appreciate her accomplishments as friends told me about her, and I read her book. Countless children and families are healthier, safer, and happier because of her leading work with YMED and WIC. She and her husband were extraordinary. Imagine what our world would be like, what our community would be like, if there were more people like the Woods. Blessings and sympathy to their children and grandchildren.
