Not sure what to say?

I did not know Penny personally, but she was a close friend to my sister, Erica Gissberg-Johnson. They bicycled around Italy together some years ago, which will always be a wonderful memory for my sister. So sorry for your loss....and I wish I had known her. My deepest condolences to all that knew and loved her.

Many years going to Penelope's Espresso in Downtown Tacoma. Sorry to hear about this today.. Penny, you will be missed and my heart goes out to the family.

So very sorry to hear of Penny's passing. She was such a lovely classmate back in the Bethel days. I regret not staying in better touch. Blessings of healing for Devin and the rest of the family. My prayers are with you.

I met Penny as a patron of Penelope's on Broadway in Dec 93. Over the years we have shared family and dog stories. She would listen while working, often knowing many orders of the "regulars" and our punch cards. Her employees learned the orders too, sharing and caring of family and dog stories. Penelopes was a place to grab a scone, some chili and a cookie or a salad! Rest In Peace Penny, you will be missed.

My condolences to all the family..I remember spending lots of time at the Amell home as I was good friends with Pennys younger Molly. A place everyone felt at home.
Rest in Peace Penny

This is very sad news. Penny was a wonderful young lady and many of us who grew up with her and her siblings, will always think of her with the highest regard. May wonderful memories bring her family and dearest friends comfort through this time. God speed to you.

Bless her heart. May she rest in peace and her family find comfort in each other. I was an employee of hers at her Coffee Shop during her first year of business. Penelope was a great inspiration to me. It was my very first job as being hired as a Barista.... I was hired by her with no experience and was taught by her to be an assertive perfectionist at working in her shop as a Barista. My mind was made up by seeing her success and just how excited and passionate she was about her shop, so I...

I am shocked and saddened to learn of Penny's death. I used to see her almost daily at her espresso shop when I worked downtown. She made a mean latte. I have wonderful memories of sitting in her shop with friends and visiting with Penny. I am so sorry for your loss. I will remember Penny with fondness.

Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
