Not sure what to say?

To the Asta & Herkenhoff families. I am very sorry for your loss of beloved Penny. I grew up across the street with the Herkenhoff family (Pam, Penny, David, and Dan). Bev & Jim were very close and instrumental in my life. I cannot begin to understand and relate to Penny's demise. I do know that she is resting comfortably and will be watching over her families until all have joined her.

Peace be with you all, and may His presence be ever so greatly in each of your lives~

We love you penny and miss you very much!

Dear Brittany, Patrick and The Herkenhoff Family,
I am so very sorry to hear of your loss-your mom was very special and will be missed dearly. Hang in there for each each other and be strong! If you need anything we are all hear for you! You all will continue to be in my thoughts and prayers!

Take care of one another,
Your Cousin, Lauren

Dear Penny, always with a smile....Your Presence will be greatly missed. You shall forever live in our hearts and memories.

Mr. and Mrs. Herkenhoff and Benn. My deepest sympathy to each of you during this time. I met Penny when I started working on board the Mississippi Queen in 1983. She was so kind, funny and welcoming - when I felt totally lost in this strange steamboating world. She was a wonderful friend - always with a warm smile. She is remembered. With my thoughts and prayers.

My condolences to Ben and all of Penny's family. I will miss her smile and cheerful greeting when she stopped by our office. I know she will be missed by all her family. Ben, I know your faith and strength will be tested without the love of your life. Just know that she is looking down on you and will give you the help you need to carry on.

Dear Bev and Jim,
I'm so very sorry to hear of your loss. I can only imagine the pain you are feeling. Please know that my heart and prayers are with you and your family.
