Not sure what to say?

Oh Suzy and Mary Ellen I'm so sorry for your loss. We were in Philly visiting our son and I thought we could meet up with Penny for lunch or something. Sadly her obituary was what I found. Penny introduced us 30 plus years ago and the last time I saw her was at my wedding. I roomed with Penny during her residency in St. Louis. She was such a fun and spontaneous person with a heart of gold! I am truly a better person for knowing Penny. In Peace and Love, Tracy & Steve Mondschein

Dr. Penny was such a wonderful beautiful person. She was the type of Doctor that would make you feel safe under her care. She is missed !!

I worked with Penny in St Louis and quickly became good friends with her. I always enjoyed my time spent with her and traveling We lost close contact , then all contact. I just searched for her to try to contact her again like I have tried every few years and just found this page. Penny was deeply connected with her patients and was the best type of Physician. Penny was a kind and gracious teacher. Penny was the best type of friend My deepest condolences to her family and all of her...

She was the best. She will always be remembered! Peace at these holidays. I live because of you! Because of you being an important part of my healthcare!

Penny was a new doctor at CLARA MAASS when I was an ICU nurse. She was such a joy! She spent time with her patients and took time explain everything. Hugs to everyone who loved her>

Happy Heavenly Birthday, Penny! Miss you

I was in New Jersey and worked at St Barnabas from 1996-1997. This is where I met Penny. She was very kind to me and a good friend to me the one year I was there. Was very sad to see that she has passed.

I was a patient of Dr.D´s since 1999. I had a Transplant in 2001 and was in very bad shape. She helped me straighten out and get well. She was hands down the most caring Dr. I have ever had. She was always just a phone call away and never too busy for me. My heart is broken over the news of her passing.... Philip Wurm

I just found out about Dr. Penny Defranco. I am sending all my heart felt thoughts and prayers to her family. Will miss you .
