DOVER — Penny Kelly left us suddenly at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital on Thursday, April 28, 2005, from a brain aneurysm.
She was born Feb. 9, 1959, to Eliza Jane Ainsworth Kelly and the late Henry Earl Kelly.
She was a lifetime resident of Dover and was instantly loved by all who crossed her path. She always had a beautiful smile, a kind word and a helping hand for anyone who needed it.
Her memory will forever live in the hearts of her mom; son, Joshua Kelly; daughter, Heidi Cross; future son-in-law, Eddie Duhaine; granddaughter, Alexis Joy Duhaine; sons, Frank and Jamie Cross; brothers, Pride Kelly and wife, Lana, Jack Kelly; sister, Georgia Kelly; sister at heart, Jill Pridham; nieces, Kimmy Blanchard and Amanda Sousa; nephew, Shane Blanchard; two great-nieces; one great-nephew and many, many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
She will also be fondly remembered with great affection by so many who had the privilege of knowing her and the honor of her friendship.
She enjoyed camping at White Lake, canoeing on the Saco, old movies, Elvis Presley, the Blues, especially Billy Holliday, Marvin Gaye, Matchbox 20, and watching the Red Sox. What she loved most was just spending time with her family and friends.
In support of the family, there will be a Memorial Benefit Jamboree on May 15 at Jimmy’s Sports Bar in Dover, N.H. from 1 p.m. to 8 p.m. for all family and friends who would like to honor Penny’s life.
In lieu of flowers, Penny would appreciate donations to the Cocheco Humane Society in Dover, N.H.
Arrangements under the direction of Purdy-McCooey-Dion Funeral Home.
