Dear Penny, You were such a compassionate light for so many people. I watch your video "Ain't Life Sweet" and see you smiling and lighting up the screen and think, "That's Penny - that smile!" You were always so kind and helpful. I still look up at the apartment you shared with Nancy on 'Penny Lane' in Verdun and remember you there! A good goodbye, old friend, from one of the many whose lives you touched with your simple wisdom and authenticity, as Jason so beautifully put it. These gifts go on in you too Jason, along with the music. Sincere condolences to family and friends.

Dear Penny and her family and friends:

Penny was an essential part of Montreal, of our youth and of what it meant to be a Montreal-er. We were all enriched by her presence, her existence and her talent. We have all been diminished by her untimely death but she lives on in our hearts. Sincere condolences.
