Not sure what to say?

Another year without the joy and smiles of Penny. Penny, Jerry misses you so much as do your many many friends most os whom loved you dearly. Jerry is slugging forward and doing really well. He is staying in his home in part I think to live amongst the loving memories you have left there. We are all watching for him and missing you,. Larry Sokol

I remember Penny from high-school. She was such a pretty girl with class and charm. Gone from this earth way too soon. My forever condolences to all her family and friends.

Another year of a bit less laughter, smiles and light in the world without Penny. Fortunately her indelible joy remains with each of us. Light from distant galaxies may take tens of thousand of years to reach us, but we see it every evening if we wish. Light from Penny is a lot closer and a lot more vivid. Larry Sokol

Has the year gone by too quickly or does it feel like it is still 2020? My take is that the healing nature of time has helped here, but only to a modest extent. What has for sure made a true difference is Jerry's strength and resilience and the fortress of love Jerry and Penny have created from the many close friendships surrounding them. Penny is with everyone and like all gems, endures. Larry

Jerry and family,
So very sorry for your loss. Penny’s warmth, kindness, and openness was embracing in the conversations we shared at social gatherings.
Wishing peace knowing you have a beautiful family and close friends to love and support you.

Jerry, I was so saddened to hear of Penny’s passing. We met our freshman year at MHS and we were close friends all through high school. We stayed close until I married in 1968 in college and then sadly lost touch as I left Dayton for school and never really lived there again. We regained our friendship through Facebook. We shared views on politics, women’s rights among others. She was beautiful, smart and one of a kind and I have so many wonderful memories of her, her family and a shared,...

This wonderful woman was the source of comfort to so many. She was the woman opening the door to Jerry's heart so that he was easily able to overcome his natural shyness allowing his warmth and love to be there for everyone. Jerry and I were in diapers together(not the same ones). It was a great blessing whenever I came back to Dayton over these past decades to know Penny would greet me with the same genuine warmth and friendship that Jerry and I were fortunate enough to have shared all...

May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Jerry,
We offer you our heartfelt condolences and deepest sympathies for your loss. Penny will forever be in our heart as a true friend and the Godmother of our journey together. We miss her dearly.
