Seale Funeral Service - Denham Springs Obituary

Penny Reynolds Watts, 73, of Denham Springs, LA passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017. She was a loving mother, grand and great-grandmother, sister and friend and will be missed dearly by all who knew her. Visitation will be held at Seale Funeral Home, Denham Springs on Sunday, June 18, from 5:00pm until 9:00pm and will resume Monday, June 19, from 11 a.m. until services at 1 p.m., conducted by Bro. Terry Booth. Entombment will follow in Evergreen Memorial Park. She is survived by two sons, Jeffery Watts and Steven Watts and wife Dayna Duhon Watts; two daughters, Traci Watts Torres and husband, Kenny Torres, and Staci Watts Morel and husband, Sigmund Morel; six grandchildren, Cory Torres and wife, Elizabeth Allen Torres, Haley Torres Smith and husband, Cory Smith, Michael McLaurin and wife, Lindi Scallan McLaurin, Megan McLaurin, Jacob Watts and Jayme Watts; four great-grandchildren, Brynley Smith, Bailey Smith, Jaxson Torres, and Madelyn Torres; sister, Gayle Rodriguez and husband, A.J.; brother-in-law, Douglas James; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Venice Watts; parents, Miller and Josephine Newman Reynolds; granddaughter Melanie Renee McLaurin; great-grandson, Nolan Joseph Torres; sister, Shirley James; and brother Sonny Reynolds. A special thank you to her life long physician Dr. Harold Brandt and the staff at The Crossing at Clarity Hospice for the love and care given to Penny during this difficult time.
