Mrs. Penny Lynell Wishart age 59 of Flowers Lane Mineral Bluff, GA, passed away peacefully at her home on February 5, 2023. Mrs. Wishart was born September 21, 1963 in Atlanta, GA to the daughter of the late James Arthur Flowers and the late Shirley Ann Dalton Flowers. Penny enjoyed doing crafts and most of all taking care of her grandchildren. Penny loved get -togethers with her entire family. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, and grandmother. Mrs. Wishart was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving Mrs. Wishart is her loving husband and best friend of 38 years, Doug Wishart of Mineral Bluff, GA, one son, Kevin Wishart, one daughter Cherie Wishart, both of Mineral Bluff, GA. Six brothers and four sister in laws, Howard Flowers, Robert and Charlotte Flowers, Joe Flowers, all of Mineral Bluff, GA, Jamie and Cindy Flowers of Morganton, GA, Heath and Pamella Flowers of Mineral Bluff, GA, Randy and Sheila Clore of Blue Ridge Ga, one sister, Evelyn Flowers of Mineral Bluff, GA, and two grandchildren, Chloe and Caroline Wishart. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 11, 2023 at 12:00pm from the Mountain View Chapel with the Rev. Robert Flowers officiating. Special music will be presented by Cherie Wishart,Charlotte Flowers and Brittany Tutherrow. The following gentleman will serve as pallbearers, Zachary Flowers, Austin Teems, D.J. Ross, Isaac Scarlett, Joseph Flowers and Rilee Flowers. Serving as honorary pallbearer will be Kevin Wishart. Interment will follow in the Van Hook Cemetery in Fannin County. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help defray expenses in Mrs. Wishart’s memory. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home on Friday from 6-8:00pm

Now after 40yrs, a piece of my heart has been ripped away. Even though the memories can never be taken from me, as I will always hold onto to those dearly.
