Rest In Heaven

Condolences to the family especially Mrs Rosa Sledge. I thoroughly ful joy listening to Mr Sledge´s songs. More so I adore the duets with the two of you, Mr and Mrs Rosa Sledge. I am listening right now. Keep strong Mrs Sledge I love too.

My deepest sympathy to the family! He was a wonderful person and great singer! I met him and his wife in Danville Va. He preformed in a bar and I sat with them and took lots of pics and he gave me his autograph and his wife did both times. I absolutely loved them both. He will forever be in my memories and heart. I listen to his hit When a man loves a woman when I was a tiny girl 4 or 5 years old. And all my life still to this day. I pray God bless his family and be with them in their time...

May his family find comfort in the love and memories they shared. I grew up listening to his songs, tonight I am reminiscing about my youth and did what I loved back then. Rest easy hero, thank you for colourful memories of my youth

I grew up listening to his music. Loved it then and love it now. So sorry about his passing.

Thank you for the beautiful, soulful music

I played in the band called the "Esquires" in the early sixties which was led by Mr. Richards, the Sterling High School Band Director at that time. Percy was the singer in the "Esquires" before his first release.... May he RIP....

I´m sixty years old. Was raised on listening to Percy Sledge. Still listen to him now. Love him. RIP.
