He was a great inspiration in our family. I am proud to say that he was a relative of mine. I am Willie Woods grandaughter( Nobie Adams ). When I speak at our Black History Program I will be proud to speak of you.

You were such an inspiration to so many who are living and those who are now gone. In addition to your inspiring life, you were an eloquent man for many who had no one else to plead their case or to stand up for them. All of us can wish our lives were lived as fully and as well when our time comes. Your saga of a civil rights activist goes far back in your family history. What a great life you lead Mr. Sutton. Rest In Peace and Honor Sir.
