Percy was a kind, gentle, generous man, and a great neighbor. We are all fortunate to have had him in our lives.

Stephanie, you had a wonderful dad and I had a great uncle. Since Mama's passing, Uncle Bub would always call and check on Jackie and me to see how we were doing. He would always mention your name and how proud he was of you. I will never forget this past summer and his visit to North Carolina. I'm very proud of the fact that Uncle Bub was who he was. Uncle Bub, i cannot say i have slept one complete day with your passing. It was my life to check on you, like i promised moma i would, we have laughed, eaten food together, pass 20 dollars between the two of us for the past 3 years, i will always remember what you taught me, your beatiful laugh, the cook outs, but most of all i will always remember your kindness. You were giving and made life pains, easier, because you laughed no matter what, which made me laugh, you lived your life well. ...

Stephnie, We were saddened to hear of the passing of your father, our dear friend and class mate. You have our deepest sympathy. May God strengthen you during this difficult time. He will be missed.
