Not sure what to say?

I was fortunate enough to have Ms. Reynolds (the only thing I would ever dare call her in the early 1980s) as my teacher for creative writing and Advanced Placement English at Oscoda High School. The experience was equal parts terror and joy. She made a writer out of me, and the praise she gave my writing was more important than any praise I have ever received. I am proud to say that she inspired me to be a teacher and a lifelong writer.

Absolutely loved this woman, one of my favorite teachers, very smart and funny. Always looked forward to her class, which I never did for any other teacher. After high school I got to know Gloria as well, playing bingo at the eagles in oscoda. My thoughts and prayers go to her and the family during this terrible loss.

Seph and I were grad school mates. She was a good friend and a quick wit.

Doc Reynolds was an amazing teacher and helped so many. If it was not for her encouragement, I don't know if I would have gone to university. I eventually earned a Phd in Latin American history, but I'll never forget Doc's encouragement during AP English class my senior year. Today I teach both college writing and history courses, and only wish I could have thanked her for the difference she made for meand my students, now that I am on the other side of the classroom. She was a wonderful,...

A phenomenal teacher!! Loved her dry wit.My daughters had her for English and all of them spoke highly of her.

our hearts are filled with joy knowing the Lord has one of his children back home with Him Thank you for sharing Doc Reynolds with us, sharing her love, kindness and her love of teaching.Prayers to Gloria and the family.

Seph was one incredible lady and friend who touched so many lives. Her dry sense of humor, her sense of caring, and her love for her students and friends was unsurpassed. Our hearts, thoughts, and prayers are with Gloria and the family. Our memories of Doc will always make us smile. She will be so greatly missed.

Seph was one of the most beautiful souls I've ever met. My sincerest condolences to her life-long love Gloria, and to the rest of her family.

What a splendid teacher! Doc's English instruction at Oscoda High School was superior to anything I experienced at the university level. I shall cherish memories of in-class essays, creative assignments, her use of first-rate motion pictures to supplement lessons, discipline, and subtle humor.
