Dear Marie and Peter,
I am so sorry to hear of your mother's passing. I am sorry that we had not been in touch in the past few years but she was certainly in my thoughts and prayers so often. She certainly was a special lady. We spent many happy times together, personally and in St. Ann's and at OHS. She was one of the most caring persons I have known and helped many throughout her life. She certainly will be remembered by thousands of grateful people. May your happy memories...

Perina Tassini was one of the most caring individuals that I have ever met. During my 17 years as the Athletic Director for the Ossining School District, I was amazed at the way Mrs. Tassini (Perina) treated each and every child as if they were her own. She was a special person that really was irreplaceable. I will never forget what a special educator and person she was. Our deepest sympathies to her family.

Mrs. Tassini was the school nurse while I attended OHS.
She was so kind, and gentle to all.
My thoughts and prayers to her entire family.

I was honored to meet you today and to pay my respects to your mother. I first met Perina in 1985, as I came to work at Ossining High School. I have seldom met a more caring, compassionate person. In the coming days, I am sure you will hear ( over and over again ) many stories of her kindness. Please know that she touched the lives of hundreds of students and staff in her career at OHS. My fond memories of your mom are numerous ... and my thoughts and prayers...

I (Priscilla) will always remember Perina as a special person who cared for all the students and staff at Ossining High School. Perina and I (Rod) went all through school together - kindergarten through Grade 12 - in the Ossining School District, Class of 1950. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family, Marie and Peter.

I am so sorry for your loss. I didnt really know Mrs Tassini, but I remember her from my days as an ER nurse at Phelps in the 90's, she would come with her student that needed treatment, very kind and caring! May she rest in peace. from one nurse to another! Prayers for her family.

Mrs. Tassini was a very caring woman who got me through some rough sick times at OHS. Rest in Peace
