Schrader Funeral Home and Crematory - Ballwin Obituary

Leopando, Perla Doromal (nee Doregios), baptized into the hope of Christ's resurrection, Tuesday, December 22, 2020.

Beloved wife of Romeo Leopando; Dearest mother of Randy (Maryrose) Leopando and Ryan Leopando; Dear Grandmother of Marysa Leopando and Romeo Andrew Leopando; Beloved sister of the late Augustin Doregios, Predora Cuadro, Fatima Newman, and Araceli D. Doregios.

Besides her marriage with Romeo for 47 years, Perla’s greatest joys in life were watching her sons play soccer, talking to people (friends, family, or strangers), and adoring her two grandchildren. She was a devoted Catholic and always put others before herself. Perla spent most of her work life taking care of the elderly where her heart of gold prominently shined.

Services: Visitation at Holy Infant Catholic Church, 627 Dennison Drive, Ballwin, Wednesday, December 30, from 10:00 a.m. until time of Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association. A service of the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory. Friends may sign the family’s on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.

NOTE: Due to current gathering restrictions, face masks are required and social distancing guidelines apply.

It was lovely seeing Ate Perla for the first time in New Jersey, a caring wife , a young mom, a very welcoming sister in law .
We had some memorable times together when she was learning how to drive . She was nervous , trying hard to focus on her steering and turning the car . So delighted for her , when I got the news that she got her driver’s license !
Ate Perla never failed to send me birthday cards , until she became unwell . She’s usually the one who answers the home phone ....

Known her when she was working at the hospital, giving medications to patients, very nice knowing her & Romy who serviced our furnace & a/c unit, thank you, lovely couple.
