Pernell Roberts

I remember Mr "Pepper" when I was an elementary student at St Mary´s Star of the Sea school in Phoebus. He drove the CRT bus. I loved sitting in the seat just behind the driver and would always talk to him. We all knew him as "Mr Pepper". One day he confided in me what his real name was and told me it was our secret and not to tell anyone. He made me feel so special. I kept those fond memories of his kindness my entire life. My sincere condolences to his family.
