Not sure what to say?

I stayed with the Ball's in 1972 and hitchhiked through Durango a second time in 1974. Without question the best the West has to offer.

When reminiscing about a trip 40 years ago right about now in 1983, I looked up Dr Ball in Durango and saw this obituary. Just having graduated from college, a friend and I made a trip from NC out west only for me to start feeling weak and I got sicker as I travelled. I popped in on Dr Ball In Durango who diagnosed me with mononucleosis. This cut our trip short as we never made it to Wyoming but headed home. I´ll never forget Dr Ball! Dr. Ball was our family doctor he delivered me he was a great man and will be missed R.I.P. Dr. Ball

Dr. Ball was my family doctor in Durango, respected and trusted through our health ups and downs. I can still hear his voice, and see that mirror on his head, above his wide smile. Simpler times then; better care given than now, (though perhaps with less knowledge)... there is much to miss and mourn with the loss of a beloved community doctor, but his reach went much further. Dr. Ball was a good man who did much good in this world, and leaves a long legacy. My sympathy to the Ball family,...

Dr. Ball was my doctor from the time I was little until I was an adult. I absolutely loved him! He was so kind and humble and delivered the best medical care. I am glad that I had the blessing of being his patient. He will be missed by many!

I am sure my Mom Gypsy, and Dad, Dr. Sam, both long since deceased would wish the best for Lois and Perry and survivors. Pretty sure I have it right that Sam and Perry traded coverage, when a couple days off would interrupt the practice of medicine. Possibly the last of the medical Old Guard. Blessings to all you Balls.

Dr. Ball was our family doctor when I was growing up he delivered me into this world he was a good guy and great doctor R.I.P. Dr. Ball.

Blessings to you all! As I would say to Lois and Perry, "Hugs" You are Loved!
