Not sure what to say?

I am grateful to have been a patient of Dr Eck for many years. He was so compassionate in his care but his humor always made us laugh & walk away with a chuckle. His care & kindness when my husband was very ill will always remain a cherished blessing for me & my children. My deepest sympathies to your entire family. He made quite a mark in this life.

I am saddened by the loss of my friend,Dr.Perry Eck.
Perry was a regular at the Village Walk Lappool,in Sarasota,Florida,as am I. He swam laps daily at 3:00 .Since swimming laps wasn't his favorite activity,he was going to request that the HOA,shorten the pool...(such was
Perry's sense of humor)!
Perry entertained everyone at the LapPool.I shall miss hearing his pool side
chats and jokes of the day.Perry was a kind, thoughtful, intelligent and an extremely humble man ....A...

So sorry to hear of Dr Eck's passing away. He was our wonderful Dr. for many years. Rest In Peace .

I was so sad to hear of Perry's passing. At the time I was visiting in Sarasota Florida. Perry was a joy to know and enjoy as a friend. He was my neighbor on Bristol View Drive.
He spoke his mind. He shared his deep thoughts and concerns. A good man.
My deepest sympathy to the family.

I am so sorry to hear of Perry's passing. I was actually in Sarasota at that time. Upon my return I was informed by neighbors ( I live on Bristol View Dr). Please know I feel fortunate to have had the chance to talk with him often. A most interesting man.
Always a joy.

Spleen, we've already spoken but I just want to say again, here, how sorry i am, for you and your family, for the sudden passing of your father. He seems like an excellent person with a great, personal history, and military and professional career. Cherish the memories.

Like many of us, Dr. Eck disliked the "progress" in medicine that took us away from individualized patient care, and gave priority to efficiency and productivity. Unlike many of us he was unafraid to express his opinions in public. We listened to his opinions because we knew he cared about patients and cared about the profession. I will miss his collegiality and his curiosity about medicine. He faded away as a presence at RGH in the last few years, and that I suppose will be our fates also....

Hung out with Perry at the lap pool in Sarasota , I really loved that guy and will miss him dearly. Jimmy Piscitelli.
