Not sure what to say?

Shirley and family, I am so very sorry to hear of Perrys passing. I was not aware that he had passed away. I feel so sad that I sent you a Christmas card and a birthday card for Perrys birthday on Christmas and did not even know he had passed. I was out of town for a funeral in Aberdeen that same weekend and must have missed it. Again, I apologize. I would have been at the funeral. I am so sad that I was not there. Perry was a wonderful boss and a wonder Person. He was so compassionate....

Thanks to Marilyn M. I just heard about Perry's passing. I smile when I think about him, what a joyful person. And how kind you two were to my mother. You're in my prayers.

To Shirley and family, I just now learned of Perry's passing. He will be greatly missed. Always enjoyed visiting with him, back when he was at Union Insurance and times with Glen & Ruby. Our deepest sympathy, Joyce & Jack Bennett, Gayle & Roger Angus

Perry was such a dear friend and coach to me. He was like my second dad. At Augustana, he taught me to the best person and softball player I could be. He lead us with his great coaching ability to a National Championship! God is so blessed to have another angel in heaven! Love you, Perry! Enjoy your news wings with those who love you here and there. Ferris Grund #28 will always have a special place for you in my heart.

I will always remember how calm his presence made me feel as I warmed up in the bullpen or talked to him on the mound. I owe him such a debt of gratitude for the role he played in my life. What an honor to know him and play for him.

I am so sorry to hear of Perrys passing. He was such an integral part of Auggie softball and I feel fortunate to have played for him in 85 & 86. After just calculating his age at that time, Im both impressed, and embarrassed that a 54 year old man could beat a 21 year old in a 50 yard dash! We shared some good laughs over that. All my sympathy for the loss of such a great man.

Thanks for being such a great role model to all the kids in the neighborhood Perry. I was fortunate to have grown up around the Emmons family. My thoughts and prayers are with you Shirley, Jeff, and Mori, during this difficult time. I think of you all often when I am back in the neighborhood.

Thank you Mr Emmons for the fun and learning during my basketball years on the Menzel-Emmons team. Condolences to Jeff and family.

Thanks Perry for all you have done during my college years. When Mori and I rented a house you gave us some furniture and food in the frig. Always supporting our softball team. Love you dearly.
