Not sure what to say?

I don't know if nine years is too late, but only today I learned of Perry' passing. Although I was in Perry's class of 1974, I moved from Virginia to Florida in 1972, and unfortunately Perry and I lost touch. I played school sports with Perry and recall him as being one of the premier athletes in our school. He was also a great friend and I can't imagine the sadness his passing caused to his friends and family. He was a wonderful guy and I'll always cherish the time we spent together.

Thank you for sending me an update for Perry. I still cannot believe that this fine gentleman is no longer with us. God Bless you, Leila, and all of your and Perry's family.
Please contact me via my e-mail address. I would love to talk to you.

He was a great teacher of mine im glad that I was able to meet him and learn from him.I will miss him very much.

I am so sorry to hear of Perry's passing. He was my mentor teachor as well as my department head at Virgina Beach Central Academy. I considered him a friend as well as an overwhelming influence during those first years of teaching. His influence on the world will be greatly missed.

Perry lived his life to the fullest. He touched many lives and saved many kids.
A great family man,A great friend,a great teacher, a great role model,a man of great words and wisdom. Rest in peace you fulfilled you purpose. Your brother Tony

He always treated his "special" students with such caring. It was a joy to watch him during instruction. He always greeted with a smile and made every day enjoyable at school. I know his students will be hardest hit at his passing. To his family: I am truly sorry for your loss of this amazing teacher and person.

May Perry rest in the bosom of God's care. I pray that the peace of God, that surpasses our understanding, rest and abide with family and friends in their time of comfort

Perry - I always admired you in High School. You were bigger than life , faster than the wind. Your spirit, tenacity and grace were amazing. God bless you. Geoff Fisher (Encinitas, CA)
