Not sure what to say?

I think of our beloved Perry so very often with great fondness, I miss her advise, warmth, compassion, friendship and a shoulder to cry on. The void is irreplaceable and I´m sure anyone who´s lives she´s touched feel the same way. It´s a great comfort to know that Perry is helping those in need and sharing great joy from her family in a very special place. When you speak to her, she hears you!

Dearest Perry, Tears fill my eyes but I know that each yahrtzeit, anniversary of your departure brings your holy soul to a higher place where you look down and share much joy with your family. I miss you so and think about you with the fondest of memories. There is and will never be a replacement for our dear Perry!

Forever grateful Perry for all your wisdom and for saving my daughter´s life... I continue to thank you every day because now I am a grandmother. Whoever saves a life saves the world entire.

There were two people in my life, my beloved sister and my Perry whose advice I cherished. There will never be anyone to fill that void. Whether at an office session or phone conversation, Perry listened, cared and provided the strength I needed and I miss her so! Roz Leffler

I think of our beloved Perry so very often and feel a tremendous void. Although my husband and I have seeked the advice of other therapists regarding our daughter, nobody had the understanding, compassion or the right words. You will be forever in our hearts!

There is not a day that goes by that I use the DBT skills that you have taught me. I will be forever grateful to you ... my daughter Allie is doing well and gave our family a beautiful baby boy, Liam 2 years ago ... saving one life can safe entire generation. Forever grateful.

With tears in my eyes, I remember our beloved Perry who helped my husband and I understand our daughter´s illness. No one was more compassionate and truly caring and a real friend. I believe she is in a very good place and continued to have great joy from her family!

Some years back, after my daughter , married at the time with a a new baby was diagnosed with bpd we were referred to Perry for treatment. Although, my daughter was in denial about her condition, Perry helped my husband and I. When I once asked Perry if maybe there would be a miracle and my daughter would get better she said that was possible. Even though I knew it was a rediculous question, Perrys answer made me feel better. I happened to have googled Perrys name and found out that she had...

I only found about about Perry Hoffman' s passing today 12/ 16 / 19. I am shocked and so saddened. I met Perry when I was in the borderline day program at NYH many yrs ago. She was the most compassionate, kind , caring person I ever met who worked & fought hard for ppl.like me. She was a BPD warrior. She never stopped advocating working and helping ppl like me. I can' t put into words how much she
meant to me as a humam being and a therapist. Noone was more passionate as she was to...
