Not sure what to say?

Lots of memories from holidays and birthdays when we all were young He was a great cousin

I extend my condolences to the family and friends of Perry. I did not know him well, but remember him as being a good person. I remember his parent's home on the Thornapple River back in our high school days in the 1950s.

Just wanted to extend my sympathy to Perry´s family. My folks, Marv and Peg Ribbens, were good friends with Mart and Nell. I have good memories of riding on the pontoon boat up and down the Thornapple River. I have photos of young Perry when he fished with his dad and my dad. Would love to send them to you!

Perry was my oldest friend. Our families were friends before we were born. Growing up in Cascade and living on the river made life ideal. Just talked with him around Christmas and reminesed. I will miss him. Sending love to his family. She

One great guy that has known me since I was born. Always enjoyed his conversations and his stories about my parents and their families and friends. I will definitely miss running into him.

The end of an era...the good old boys! I loved that he was a great friend to my dad, even before he married my mom, making them cousins. Perry always made gatherings fun/funny, and I´ll miss that sweet smile!

Perry has been family since I was 11 years old even though it wasn´t made official until I turned 33. I remember how Perry took me salmon fishing and taught how to clean and cook them. I will truly miss the bantering we had over NASCAR as he was a Chevy fan and I Ford fan. It was fun to tease him when a Ford driver finished first on race day! Perry, you took care of my mom when she needed stability in her life. I am forever grateful God brought you two together. Rest in Peace!!

I will miss Perry's stories and our laughs together. He was a wonderful step father to me and grandfather to my children. We were blessed to have him in our lives. My heart goes out to my mom, his wife, and to the rest of his family. May we all find comfort in our loving memories of Perry. We love you Perry!

My Dad,Paul Slater, and Perry were special friends. He would spend a lot of time at the mobil gas station. It was a popular hang out for young men around Cascade in the 1960's.. He was always so kind to everyone. Rest in peace. Sue Slater Lockhart
