CALDERON
Pete Ancira Calderon, born July 17, 1927, ascended to heaven to be with the Lord on May 13, 2013. He was preceded in death by parents Ernesto and Maria de la luz Calderon, sister Elida Cantu and brother Edward Calderon. Pete was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by wife Tillie Hernandez Calderon, daughters Sonya Calderon, Cynthia Trevino (Tony), and Peggy Rodriguez (Richard), and 6 grandchildren Peter, Eric, Thomas and Juliet Trevino and Alex and Anthony Rodriguez. He served in the Army during WWII and later served as a naval reservist. He retired from the US Postal Service and worked as a substitute teacher with the SAISD. Pete leaves a world of good memories with all that knew him. May he rest in peace. Visitation will begin on Thursday at 4:00 P.M. in The Angelus Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be offered Friday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Henry's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No.2. Great person in the St Henry community family...I also remember his kindness. May God Bless his family.
