Pete Esqueda Chavez

Pete Chavez was a wonderful family friend for over 50 years. I didn't know him as well as my parents, but they had enormous respect for him and Esther. He was a quiet, humble man and was the essence of dignity. He lived a tremendous life and now, God has welcomed him into his kingdom for everlasting life.

Pete is the definition of a "good person". I am glad he had such a long and good life. Tulare definitely was the beneficiary. May his memory live long. God bless all who shared him with our community..

Pete was one of the greatest human beings I have ever known. He and his wife Esther, immediately made our family feel welcome to the neighborhood, the day we were moving in, on a hot August day in 2004, by bringing us a pitcher of iced tea! Since then, we became friends, and later, we got see Pete as part of our family. What a wonderful man. Words alone cannot convey the since of loss that those of us that worked with Pete and knew him feel at this time. Our prayers for the family of a man that was truly an example of God's love for one another right here on earth.
